Luna Rosa | MK Ultra

Hailing from Northamptonshire Luna Rosa are back with latest single ‘MK Ultra’. Luna Rosa are brazen, loud, raw and a band that seem to continue to pop up around the scene, recently playing the likes of shows for This Feeling and growing their audience as they continue to represent the feelings of disenfranchised youth.

‘MK Ultra’ is grotty and murky in its approach, with distorted riffs, thick baselines and crashing drums, accented with vocals that create a sense of raw felling within the intricate folds of the song. ‘Mk Ultra’ carries a controlled energy, glimpses of something more chaotic beneath the surface suggested throughout.

“Hold me down on holy ground.” a line that is repeated with this driving force of frustration, really represents the singles overall energy and power that Luna Rosa holds with this release. Creating a swirl of noise that really does encase you.

‘Mk Ultra’ is the second single from the bands forthcoming EP, following up the strident ‘I in the centre of Pride’ all recorded at Magic Garden Studios, Wolverhampton.

‘MK Ultra’ is a promising single from the band and paves the way for what we hope will be an EP that truly shows the bands energy on record.

Luna Rosa could be your new favourite band.

'MK Ultra' OUT NOW on all major streaming platforms.
